O caso
No último final de semana, viralizou um vídeo em que Lins debocha de uma criança com hidrocefalia durante um show de stand up. Na filmagem, ele cita o Teleton, que arrecada dinheiro em ações do SBT para ajudar menores de idade com problemas de saúde, e conta a história de uma garoto do Ceará.
“Eu acho muito legal o Teleton, porque eles ajudam crianças com vários tipos de problema. Vi um vídeo de um garoto no interior do Ceará com hidrocefalia. O lado bom é que o único lugar na cidade onde tem água é a cabeça dele. A família nem mandou tirar, instalou um poço. Agora o pai puxa a água do filho e estão todos felizes”, declarou Leo Lins ao público.
Atuante na causa de crianças com deficiência, o SBT decidiu demitir o humorista em virtude da piada. Em contato com Splash, a assessoria do canal tratou do assunto em poucas palavras. “Leo Lins não faz mais parte do quadro de elenco do SBT. Ele não tem mais contrato conosco”, anunciou.
A AACD (Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente) emitiu um comunicado, na tarde de hoje, lamentando o episódio. “A AACD repudia veementemente a ‘piada’ feita por Leo Lins em vídeo divulgado recentemente nas redes sociais do comediante. Em uma fala extremamente infeliz e bastante capacitista, ele ataca pessoas com hidrocefalia, chama as pessoas com deficiência de “crianças com vários tipos de problemas” e mostra desrespeito aos moradores do Ceará”, diz a nota.
