São Paulo, SP, 07 (AFI) – Após negociação para trazer Wendell, do Zenit-RUS esfriar, o Corinthians voltou suas atenções ao mercado nacional. O Timão busca a contratação do volante Zé Wellison, atualmente no Fortaleza.
O Fortaleza recusou a primeira investida corinthiana, que tenta convencer com uma troca de jogadores entre os clubes.
Com as caraterísticas de Zé Wellison, Luxemburgo tem à sua disposição o volante argentino Fausto Vera, o colombiano Cantillo e o ídolo Paulinho. O último deve retornar apenas em 2024, após nova lesão no ligamento do joelho. Já Cantillo está em transição física, mas não deve ter espaço no clube, com recentes sondagens do futebol de seu país.
Recentemente, Luxa subiu o garoto Gabriel Moscardo para realizar essa função. Inclusive, Moscardo foi titular na partida contra o Améria-MG, no jogo de ida das quartas de finais da Copa do Brasil. O jovem volante está em vias de renovar seu contrato com o Timão.
ZENIT
O Corinthians chegou a sondar o volante Wendell, com contrato com o Zenti até 2027. Apostando na boa relação com o clube russo, com as recentes vendas de jogadores para o clube, o Timão recebeu um sonoro não, esfriando a negociação.
A recusa virou piada entre a torcida, uma vez que o Corinthians não fez jogo duro para vender o atacante Pedro, de 17 anos, considerado uma das grandes promessas do clube, por preço de “banana”.
