Recife, PE, 9 (AFI) — Sem perceber, torcedores dos estados de Pernambuco e do Ceará, tradicionalmente rivais no futebol, acabaram ficando unidos por conta da conquista de vagas na Copa do Brasil de 2024. As possibilidades, baseadas nos critérios de classificação à Copa Nacional estabelecidos pela Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF), animam os clubes dos estados, que aguardam ansiosos pelas competições regionais e nacionais.
CARCARÁ E AZULÃO PRÓXIMOS DA COPA DO BRASIL
O cenário de distribuição de vagas começa com a Copa do Nordeste deste ano, onde o Sport pode garantir uma vaga na Copa do Brasil para o seu conterrâneo Salgueiro caso conquiste o título. O mesmo pode acontecer com o Ceará, que, se for campeão, leva o Iguatu, terceiro lugar do Campeonato Cearense, à Copa do Brasil. O Azulão Cearense também pode garantir vaga direta se o Fortaleza for à Libertadores ou caso vença a Copa Fares Lopes.
Além disso, caso o Sport ou o Ceará sejam campeões da Série B, Salgueiro e Iguatu garantem a classificação à Copa do Brasil, juntos. Neste caso, Leão e Vozão teriam vaga direta na terceira fase do torneio, independentemente de quem for campeão ou vice da Copa do Nordeste. Isso ocorre porque, se o mesmo clube vencer o Nordestão ou a Série B, a vaga direta na terceira fase da Copa do Brasil fica com o vice-campeão do regional.

E TEM MAIS!
Mas as possibilidades não param por aí. Caso Sport e Ceará conquistem o Nordestão e a Série B, mais vagas entre os estados podem ser abertas. No caso de o Fortaleza se classificar para a Libertadores ou o Sport ganhar a Copa do Brasil, o Tricolor de Aço garantiria uma vaga direta na terceira fase da Copa Nacional, como melhor classificado da Copa do Nordeste ou clube participante da Libertadores.
Desta forma, além de Iguatu e Salgueiro, o quarto lugar do Campeonato Cearense, o Ferroviário, também ficaria com uma vaga na Copa Nacional. Isto porque o Fortaleza, classificado ao torneio de 2024, tem vaga garantida, no momento, pelo estadual e entraria direto na terceira fase como clube da Libertadores, caso chegue ao torneio continental. O Ferrão também pode se garantir caso o Ceará ganhe um dos torneios e o Leão vá à Liberta ou caso ganhe a Taça Fares Lopes, no segundo semestre.

Além disso, em um cenário improvável, até o ABC-RN poderia ser beneficiado com uma vaga direta na terceira fase da Copa do Brasil. Isso poderia beneficiar o Santa Cruz de Natal ou o Potiguar de Mossoró, que ainda brigam pelo terceiro lugar do Campeonato Potiguar. Para que isso ocorra, o Ceará precisa vencer a Série B do Brasileiro, o Fortaleza ir à Libertadores pelo Brasileirão e o Sport ser campeão da Copa do Brasil.
Neste caso, o rubro-negro pernambucano entraria na Copa do Brasil de 2024 como clube classificado à Libertadores. O Vozão, por sua vez, entraria como campeão da segunda divisão nacional. O Tricolor do Pici, terceiro lugar do Nordestão, herdaria a vaga do regional, mas, por já estar classificado à Libertadores pelo Brasileiro, passaria para o Elefante da Frasqueira, quarto lugar da Copa Regional em 2023. É improvável? Sim, mas a possibilidade mantém acesa uma chama de esperança nos clubes envolvidos.
