Quem tem débitos junto ao Município de Sorocaba, sejam munícipes ou empresas, poderá regularizar de vez a sua situação, com descontos de até 100% na multa e parcelando o montante em até 24 vezes (dois anos), por meio do novo “SuperRefiz” – Programa de Regularização Fiscal do Município, que entrará em vigor nos próximos dias e por tempo limitado.
A Lei Municipal nº 12.797/2023 foi aprovada pela Câmara de Sorocaba e sancionada pelo prefeito Rodrigo Manga, nesta terça-feira (9). Por meio das Secretarias Jurídica (Sej) e da Fazenda (Sefaz), a iniciativa busca oportunizar aos contribuintes inscritos na Dívida Ativa do Município o pagamento dos débitos com condições diferenciadas, sejam eles pessoas físicas ou jurídicas.
Para pagamento à vista, o desconto é de 100% na multa e de 95% nos juros de mora. Entre duas e três parcelas, é de 90% da multa e dos juros; entre quatro e 12 parcelas, 80% de redução da multa e dos juros; e entre 13 e 24 parcelas, 60% de redução da multa e dos juros. As demais informações poderão ser consultadas, logo mais, no site da Prefeitura: www.sorocaba.sp.gov.br.
“Programas, como esse, beneficiam tanto a população, como o Poder Público. Os contribuintes podem negociar e quitar seus débitos com os maiores descontos possíveis. E o Município, por sua vez, recupera esses recursos, para reinvestir nas principais áreas da cidade, como saúde, educação, segurança e infraestrutura”, afirma o prefeito Rodrigo Manga.
Para o secretário da Fazenda, Marcelo Duarte Regalado, o “SuperRefiz” é uma oportunidade única para os contribuintes regularizarem seu situação com o Município, dentro das suas possibilidades financeiras. “A Fazenda Municipal, em conjunto com o Jurídico, estudou as melhores condições para permitir que todos os contribuintes sejam beneficiados pelo programa, da mesma forma que o Município de Sorocaba, que poderá reinvestir esses recursos em mais melhorias a serviço da população”, destaca.
