Diadema, SP, 21 (AFI) – Após fazer história ao avançar a final do Paulistão, eliminando o Red Bull Bragantino, nos pênaltis, nas semifinais, o Água Santa tem que definir onde irá mandar o jogo de ida da grande decisão. Porém, haverá tempo para isso, já que a FPF agendou o Conselho Técnico da final só para a próxima semana.

A intenção principal era mandar o jogo no próprio Distrital do Inamar, em Diadema, mas o local não pode sediar uma final. Já que segundo o regulamento do Paulistão, as decisões tem que acontecer em estádios superior a 10 mil lugares e com iluminação.

Com isso, as opções que está na mesa do Água Santa são a própria Vila Belmiro, onde o clube jogou contra o RB Bragantino e avançou para a decisão ou o Estádio do Morumbi. A primeira opção, é a preferida da comissão técnica.

Mas, a opção de atuar no Morumbi é mais rentável financeiramente, já que pode receber até 66 mil pessoas. A renda seria importante para as finanças do Água Santa, que não terá mais calendário em 2023.
